Benchmark Pool Status
AXIS benchmarks blend published research with consented peer assessments (Methodology §6.4). This page shows, live, exactly how much peer evidence currently backs each industry benchmark. Peer data reaches half the estimate's weight at 16 consented assessments; until then, benchmarks lean on published research and say so.

Why publish this? A benchmark is only as good as its evidence. Rather than implying peer data that doesn't exist yet, AXIS displays every benchmark with a credible interval and this evidence composition, and the pool page lets anyone audit the claim.
Privacy: only assessments with explicit contribution consent enter the pool; one organization counts once; cross-organization cells below five contributors are withheld entirely (Methodology §6.10).
State of IAM Maturity Index (preview)
This section is the seed of a quarterly, citable State of IAM Maturity Index. It reports observed maturity statistics (medians and means on the 0 to 4 scale) computed directly from the consented peer pool, and it publishes a cell only once that cell reaches the disclosure floor of 5 contributors. Cells below the floor are shown as withheld, deliberately: seeing what is not yet publishable is part of the audit trail. The quarterly index will grow here, cell by cell, as the pool crosses disclosure floors.

Research prior: the published-research baseline each benchmark starts from before any peer evidence (Methodology §6.3). Observed cells are unweighted statistics of the consented pool, not the blended benchmark.
